Quite different requirements are to be met in orthopedic insoles and ortheses . Such products must not only show perfect compatibility with the skin, be lightweight and break-resistant, but must also lend themselves to problem-free, on-the-spot fitting for the individual patient. EUROPLEX® O was specially developed to fulfil these needs. Orthopedic insoles made from EUROPLEX® O. Moreover, EUROPLEX® O is suitable for use in cranial supports, orthopedic corsets, custom seats, cuffs, ortheses and braces, and all kind of large and small orthopedic aids. The insoles not only lend themselves readily to machining, but can also be thermoformed by hand with no problem.

In cooperation with customers, we have succeeded in introducing a trend away from metal towards plastic sterilization containers for medical instruments. These containers are thermoformed from EUROPLEX® PPSU. This material and the manufacturing process provide many advantages: low weight, many design options and therefore perfect adaptation to the inserted instruments, various colors enabling corporate designs, small to medium-sized series are no problem, high resistance to material loading during sterilization and storage, due to the excellent thermal and chemical resistance of EUROPLEX® PPSU and long service life.
